How SaveFlow works

SaveFlow is a free browser-based tool that takes a publicly accessible video URL, checks the media formats exposed by the source, and returns available download options. It does not unlock or bypass restricted content.

What happens after you paste a link

  1. 1. URL validation: SaveFlow checks that the submitted address belongs to a supported public source.
  2. 2. Format discovery: The backend asks its extraction engine for the video, audio, thumbnail, and quality options the source currently exposes.
  3. 3. Result selection: The interface shows the formats that are actually available for that URL.
  4. 4. Download delivery: The selected public media is delivered to the browser. SaveFlow does not require a user account.

Boundaries and limitations

  • SaveFlow does not bypass private accounts, logins, paywalls, age gates, geographic restrictions, or DRM.
  • A platform can change its public page or media delivery at any time, which can temporarily interrupt extraction.
  • Available quality and formats depend on what the source page exposes.
  • Users are responsible for permission, copyright compliance, and the source platform’s terms.

Reliability and updates

Public video platforms regularly change page structures, request rules, and media URLs. SaveFlow uses retries for temporary failures and updates its extraction components when platform changes are confirmed. A temporary failure does not mean a private or restricted video can be accessed later; those sources remain outside the service scope.
